FAVELAH's journey began with frustration and a determination to mend something broken, much like many significant ventures. The founder, Tatti, is a Brazilian artist and designer who initially studied architecture in Brazil. In 2007, she relocated to Singapore, where she later graduated in Design from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).
Having faced several disappointing experiences in local hair salons, Tatti recognized the need for specialized treatments and products catering to diverse hair types. Devoting years to this cause, she pursued courses and experimented with various hair products and treatments, ultimately mastering the art of hairdressing.
Fueling her innate curiosity and thirst for knowledge, Tatti extended her expertise beyond hair. She became a professional makeup artist, delving into techniques like eyebrow embroidery, eyelash extension, and various other aesthetic arts.
Despite her expanding repertoire, Tatti never abandoned her passion for Art and Design, evident the moment you step into Favelah.

Driving: If you are driving, here is a Waze link you can use. There is a car park just across Joo Chiat Rd.
MRT: If you plan to come via MRT, the closest station is Paya Lebar , and it will be a 15- to 20-minute walk from the station to Favelah.
Bus: Alternatively, and perhaps the best way to reach Favelah via public transport, is the 33 bus service as it will drop you less than a block away from our door. You can alight at "82151 - Bef Joo Chiat Pl" if you are coming from Clementi towards Bedock. Or alight at "82159 Aft Tembeling Rd" if you are coming from Bedock towards Clementi.
